Catarina Duarte joined the firm of Belzuz in Lisbon in 2004.
Her practice focuses on civil procedural law, including counseling and legal advocacy in the following areas:

- Bankruptcy proceedings on behalf of creditors, credit claimants, bankrupts and companies, submissions to insolvency proceedings.
- Offences relating to general economic activity and the environment.
